My Early Years Child
- You are very important in your child’s life.
- You are your child’s first teacher.
- Babies and young children learn from you in a very natural way.
- Some things that are vital to help babies learn include: cuddles, talking face to face, copying each other, sharing smiles, rhymes, books, counting, moving about and going for a walk.
- Later children learn how to eat, walk, talk and discover other new things in and around the home.
- Families are great places for children to learn.
