SUMMER STARS 2024 from Clare Libraries

We are delighted to tell you that our Summer Stars Reading Programme is starting at the earlier date of 4th June this year! We are busy planning lots of free activities for children to participate in during the summer months. 

 
Summer Stars is the public library national summer reading programme for children that runs from the 4th of June until the end of August. All children throughout the county are invited to join the adventure and to enjoy the fun and pleasure of reading and writing over the summerSummer Stars is non-competitive and every child who reads even one book/e-book is regarded as having completed the programme – and it’s all completely free!
All you have to do is visit the library with your child and register them from the 4th of June. Children who register will receive activity books, book marks, bags and pencils for taking part. It’s all free!
