Literacy on the Loose: Supports for Families at home

In this COVID world, families are at home together working, learning and managing as best they can in difficult circumstances. For UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day on 23 April, The School of Education, Trinity College Dublin, Marino Institute of Education and Limerick & Clare ETB  held a webinar to celebrate and highlight the opportunities in the every day lives of families for parents to support young children learning to read and write.

We have produced 7 short videos on how families can support young children with their literacy during the school shutdown.
They are available for all to see and share on the TCD Youtube playlist “Literacy on the Loose”
